Please explain.

I Have a general Idea of what Wifi is but can someone explain it without the big techie words. Thanks.

Wifi, in layman's terms, is wireless internet. You're connected to the internet minus all those ugly cables and through the means of airwaves, if I'm not mistaken.

If your mobile phone has wife capabilities, it will get a wifi signal wherever you go. It's cheaper than using your mobile browser through your mobile network.

Although when it comes to computers, a lot of techies say that using cable provides a more stable internet connection.
