Newbie "Network Problem" error message

I've just bought a used Nokia 770 version 3.2006.49.2 and I intend to use it when I travel to log on to Internet Hot Spots.

There are several Hotspots available locally. I maged to get connected but when I try to browse the internet I'm getting "Network Problem".

Being a new user what settings should I use to start browsing every time I hit a working Hot Spot?

Are you using the latest OS revision?

I had all kinds of trouble getting mine to connect when I was using OS2005.

Yes I have the latest and having read a suggestion made in an other forum I uploaded it again and re-installed it - this is supposed to heal the problem. I'll try it out tomorrow.

Funny some say that they're only having trouble after update and never had such problems when they had OS2005!
