OS2006 is great except the OpenVPN package on maemo.org (in the 2006 application catalog) and available elsewhere won't install. Says the package is not compatible. Best I can tell it is the identical package to the one that is listed in the 2005 application catalog, and which does install on a Nokia 770 with OS2005... so its time to downgrade to OS 2005.

Try installing it in "red pill mode". Worked for me. (Google "red pill mode" - it's easy)
