Cool Tricks - How To

N770 radio

Thank author of this post/commentThe instructions on adding a radio channel in the User Guide are beyond me and I have a PhD in physics. I cannot find "Copy link location" nor the paste applet and I've tried, God knows. If I just type the Web address in the Audio player > Playlist > Stream I get a "file format not supported" even though the station (WNYC) is listed in the directory of accessible stations. However, radioten.com and accuradio.com/mobile both work when I enter them directly in the Audio Player. What giveth?

Thank author of this post/commentDon't worry, I have a PhD in physical chemistry and I can't figure out how to add streams either. I get the same error message as you.

Tap and hold on the link the stream. A popup menu will appear. One of the options is 'Copy Link Location' Paste that into the playlist. Save the playlist (drop down menu at the top of the screen) and you should see it in the drop down box on the home screen.

Once you open the link in the web browser it transfers you to the Audio player. From the drop down list select "Track" then "Add to Favorites". It then saves it in your desktop applet. You can then select it from there. No copy paste, no pHd required.

Thank author of this post/commentI listen to Pandora Radio on my computer and love it so much. I really want to listen to Pandora on my N770 but the websites player is not compatible with the Opera browser it keeps asking to update flash. Is anyone familiar with Pandora and have you tried listen to it on your N770. Thanks.

I have done all these things to get the stream into my playslist and it keeps telling me "format not supported." Has anybody else had this problem? How do you get them added if it tells you this??
