How to unlock flash image that over writes lock code

Thank author of this post/commentHi all,

I have a Nokia N770 with an unknown lock code. I've never locked it nor has the previous owner.

Any idea how to find/remove/flash over the lock code? I seriously doubt the sales guy at the local Nokia kiosk knows how to.

Anyway, I've flashed a few images and they work, but hasn't over written the lock code afaik.

Any help appreciated.

Thank author of this post/commentah, yes, I should have mentioned that neither the default code of 12345 or the apparently sometimes used maintenance code of 00000 works. This is a second hand unit, so I'm working with what I received. I can flash the Nokia and have a few times successfully, so I'm moderately technically capable, though not a programmer.
